Welcome to the wonderful world of Mitosis!
Mitosis were born after a series of rantings on scally infested buses. Mitosis knew it was time for a revoloution. The people in charge of this operation are Helen and Ilona, perhaps the future of folk as we know it!

We are planning to record a short demo soon after easter, so start saving! I'll announce it when it's all done and dusted!

Mitosis are only a baby band but Pony and Ilonie were hard at work in Ilonie's bedroom just yesterday writing lyrics. The new songs go by the name of 'Life is...?' and 'The Southerner's Rap'.

A picture of Mitosis - asexual reproduction. 'Beautiful' says Ilonie in awe.
Here lies a message from an unknown fan:
Hello

This is a note to tell everyone (well the people i like) of the latest craze/phnominon(ish) sweeping Manchester at the moment! This is completely exclusive news and only the highest of the high, the top drawer some might say, can know of this amazin' talent. It is a super-group in the form of Miss Ilona Burton and Miss Helen Bennison (For legal reasons we will call her Lola). The band is called the inspired name of 'MITOSIS' - And yes for all of you dumbasses that is asexual reproduction!!!I just wanted to warn you before they get too big that they are the best sound heard in Manchester since 'The Stone Roses', 'Joy Division' and yes (can it be) Oasis!!! Hark!!!!! Their sound, Quoted by the spunky and highly charged member, the so called Ilonie, was described as "girly badly drawn boy fused with some bjorky weirdness" the other member 'Lola' merely added "Yes". I left the group thinking wow, can this really be, i still had the resonating sound of ilonies euphoric harmonica and 'Lola's' twang of guitar that can only be described as 'beautiful'!
